My scientific engagement has always been motivated by social issues, studying physics originally to support the movement against nuclear fission, I ended up supporting the development of alternatives. Nevertheless, as physicist I stayed interested in the physics of the climate. This is, why I started early 2018 to also read current scientific literature on climate change again to hand on the knowledge gained, as I found the situation quite shocking.
