Tamas is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Connecticut, currently working as a Security Researcher at the Technische Universitat Munchen in Germany. Tamas' research focus is information security and virtualization. In his role as Security Engineer at Zentific LLC, he was a principal investigator for a 2012-2013 DARPA Cyber Fast Track grant in support of a unique virtual machine security platform. He is active in security research, has authored several publications as the prime author, and contributes his expertise to open-source software development, among them LibVMI, Xen and the Linux kernel. In addition, he has deep expertise in systems design, low level systems development, Linux and Windows system forensics and kernel development, data analysis and packet analysis.
