Alex works at Princeton University on arms-control verification technologies and related policy questions. Current projects include nuclear archaeology, zero-knowledge protocols, virtual proofs of reality, robot inspections, disco verification, and open-source information barriers for warhead inspections. Many of these projects involve developing software and building custom hardware, trying to incorporate aspects of maker and hacker culture. He collects Atari vector arcade machines running on 6502s.
