Robert Tibbo is a Canadian lawyer practicing law in Hong Kong. His specialization is in human rights. He has represented many clients whose cases are of significant public interest and importance including:- - American whistle-blower Edward Snowden - The Snowden Refugees (asylum seekers whom sheltered Mr Snowden in Hong Kong) - Seven Xiao (Xiao Hui), the Chinese banker in Hong Kong extradited to Australia for its largest insider trading criminal case in its history; - Bangladeshi Eleven (Asylum seekers living in livestock sheds in inhuman and degrading conditions and subjected to criminal prosecution by the Hong Kong authorities after complaining about living conditions Mr Tibbo has acted for hundreds of vulnerable clients in both refugee claims and criminal proceedings, often representing those whom have been targeted by and have faced the government abuses. .
